Glenda massages the feet of a petrified Deliana during her 90-minute complicated dental proceedure to repair years of untended teeth.
Delian'a teeth before...they were so bad, she had trained herself to bever smile.

She simply cannot believe her new look, and spent the entire day running up to people and proudly showing off her new teeth.
Two smiles that are pretty as a picture: Ruth Ann poses with Deliana.

Chris takes blood pressures and uses her reflex hammer on two eager patients, Roxana and Paul.
Doctors Roxy and Paul takes the blood pressure and use their reflex hammer on a less than eager patient, Adriana.

Clara and Christina react to the discovery that tonight's dinner was frog's brain sauteed in pig's blood. (Just kidding, Iulian!)
The team assemble with the Emanuel children for their nightly bed-time prayers and scripture lesson.

We purchased a bouncy rubber ball this afternoon and gave it to our three newest Emanuel children, who have none of their own playthings. It is hard to remember ever seeing such unadulterated joy. The photos need no captions. Look at the pleasure Christina (7), Ionut (4), and Mirel (3)--children we rescued from the streets of Arad after their mother abandoned them and left the country--are having, and perhaps you can understand the real reason for ICAF's ministry here. We thank God for these children, and for those whose support helps us to provide a safe, loving home for them at Casa Emanuel.
