Romania Mission Trip

International Children’s Aid Foundation operates short-term mission trips to Romania during which participants can work in the following areas:

· Helping teach early-childhood education skills to our Bright Beginnings educators.

· Caring for abandoned babies and orphaned children.

· Medical work, ranging from teaching to providing hands-on health care in poor villages, to sorting medications.

· Evangelism—both for adults and children (i.e. preaching, and Vacation Bible School).

· Teaching computer skills to the Bright Futures teenage orphans.

· Construction - helping build our new orphanage, or homes for the homeless through Habibat for Humanity Romania.

Our trips are generally one and two weeks long. Costs and dates for the 1999 trips are shown below. These rates are for Philadelphia and New York departures. We have negotiated dramatically-reduced add-on fares if you wish to connect from another city.

In all the mission work trips we have ever led to Romania, we have never heard anyone regret they made the trip. Forty years of Communism have left the Romanian people destitute. Food, medicine, and spiritual enrichment is needed desperately. ICAF has been helping people to help our needy brethren in Romania for seven years.

Please consider a donation or personal participation in this mission trip.
